Devil's Food Cake
Ingredients

cocoa powder

baking soda

mayonnaise

peppermint extract
chocolate frosting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350◦. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Whisk together water and baking soda in a small bowl, then add to the flour mixture. (It will be very thick.)
Add mayonnaise and peppermint extract and stir until thoroughly combined.
Spread in prepared baking pan and bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
Let fully cool, then frost with chocolate frosting.
